December 2014 meeting

We will forego a demo this month to enable more time for our Christmas Gift Exchange. After a short Pre-Meeting we will have a Show and Tell and then continue that with our Christmas Gift Exchange. All members are invited to bring a gift that can fit in a paper lunch bag. If you bring a gift, you will get a gift, but if you didn’t have time to make anything, come anyway and enjoy the evening. Yak will serve as our Santa Claus and will handle gift distribution. The maker of the gift you receive will be asked to describe how the gift was made and would then be the recipient of the next gift.

Raffle – We will not have a raffle this meeting, so save your items for our January meeting.

Club Shirts – If you ordered a shirt you can pick it up at the meeting. Carol and Mark Hall and Les will be distributing the shirts.

Nameplates – new members will receive their Nameplates.

Dues – Club dues for 2015 are being collected by our Treasurer Tom Metz. Dues will continue to be $ 20.

Refreshments – Lets make this a real party! Every Club Member should bring refreshments to share with the Club. Cookies, chips etc., would be great. Sodas and water will be provided by the Club.

Club History – While we’re enjoying our refreshments, our old time Club members will entertain us with stories of the founding of the Club and its history.

We meet at Joe McCann’s shop (610-331-2372) His shop is located behind his house at: 387 Hallman Mill Road Phoenixville 19460.

Upcoming Meetings – Our January 21 meeting will feature the presentation of the tops turned in response to our Vice President’s Challenge.
