KEYSTONE WOODTURNERS
Keystone Woodturners is a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners. We share the purpose of providing education and information to those interested in woodturning. The Club was founded in 1996 and has grown to over 70 members. We meet monthly on the third Wednesday of the month. Check out the other tabs on this website for examples of what we and our members have been doing and for other information about the Club.

Demonstration by Doug Davis “Turning an Ornament”
Doug is a member of Keystone Woodturners, he has demonstrated several times. His demonstrations are always entertaining and informative.
Show and Tell
Bring in your latest turned items and tells the members about it. Wood type, finish, and challenges you had with the piece. We all enjoy seeing our members turned items and ideas to try.
Raffle
Have something that you no longer need, use or just cluttering up your shop? Bring it in for the raffle. Surely, someone will see it of value the way you once did. Remember, the raffle helps support the club with the money raised.

Community Service Project Committee (Giving Back) Update and a “Thank You” Letter.
August Donation to the Wharton Esherick Museum
Bob Antonishak and Tom Sell presented the donated items to Laura Heemer, Curator and Program Director, of the Wharton Esherick Museum. Laura was sincerely grateful a for the donation and appreciated our generosity. The items will used for their fund-raising Annual Members’ Party, celebrating the 45th anniversary of the Museum on September 10, 2017, from 2PM to 5PM. The general public is welcome to attend. Tickets are available at $45.00 for the event on the Museum’s website.
In September, the Committee will donate items to Neighborhood League of Shops
The club-member donated items will be placed in the Neighborhood League downtown Wayne shop with proceeds going to the designated non-profit organizations they support.
The mission of the Neighborhood League of Shops is to improve the quality of life in our community by providing grants to local non-profit organizations that focus on health and social services using monies generated through their shops as well as other sources of revenue.
Here is a partial list of the non-profit organizations that benefit from the Neighborhood League of Shops:
- Women’s Resource Center Serving Women and Girls in Philadelphia, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Bucks Counties
- The Timothy School Teaching Children with Autism to be Children
- Peter’s Place Center for grieving Children and Families

We meet at Joe McCann’s shop. There will be a sign on Hallman road onto his driveway. His shop is located behind his house at:
