Keystone Woodturners
Keystone Woodturners is a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners. We share the purpose of providing education and information to those interested in woodturning. The Club was founded in 1996 and has grown to over 70 members. We meet monthly on the third Wednesday of the month. Check out the other tabs on this website for examples of what we and our members have been doing and for other information about the Club.

May Meeting, Wednesday, May 17, 2017 @ 7:00PM
This Month’s Agenda:
Welcome by Bob Zrebiec, President Keystone Woodturners…brief notes of interest to all members.
Show-and-Tell (Special consideration for this month only)
Normally, we don’t do show-and-tell at our May meeting. However, since there are several community service projects for which we badly need items, we will have a show-and-tell specifically for items our members have made which they intend to donate to any of the charities we’ve promised to support.
Wood Auction led by Joe McCann
GIVE AND GET
The annual Wood Auction is our major club fund-raiser of the year and with this year’s proceeds we hope to pay off the balance due on our new lathe.
This fund-raising annual event is an excellent opportunity for all of us to support the club as well as to give and to get.
GIVE: Bring in some of the wood you’ve been intending to turn but just yet haven’t found the time. (Plus, it’s less your spouse will likely ask about.)
GET: Get some more wood to replace the wood you bring in. (Plus, it may turn out to be better than what you’ve brought in. At the very least, it will be different).
Help the club, help yourself, and help the other members bring in some wood, bid on some wood, and take some wood home. After all, you now have all that space available from the wood you’ve brought to the Auction!!!
We ask that you bring with you some small bills or, even better, a personal check to pay for your winning bids.
No Raffle this month
